It’s been a year of hardships and lost friendships,
because of some nasty little quips.
Now there are more scars present,
and none of them are very pleasant.
Still, strength has been gained,
even though we have been pained.
But here we are, making our way to forever;
after all, we gave up never.
We will reach our happily ever after
with love, bliss, security and laughter.

And this poem was written around our one year mark, I'm guessing because of the very first line, haha But of course "us today" is now technically a year and a half ago and those lost friendships have in fact been regained <3 This is also the last poem for tonight (:
